Pagudpud Getaway (throwback)

Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte never cease to amaze me. An overnight trip is like it's your last day on earth that all of the things you want to do must be done on that day. How terrible and frustrating it is. Well It's a treat (again) from Kuya Archer so, instead of making things complicated, I just simply grasp and cherish the moment with the nature and appreciate Gods creation.

And for you guys to know, this trip was last year, with my Kuya Archer, Kuya Enzo, Ate Leslie and baby Nigel. The reason why we just stayed there for a day because we had to go back to Laoag to celebrate New Year's Day with the family.

TRANSPORTATION:

We rode a hire van from Laoag, please don't ask if how much was the fair, I didn't spend money for that. You could also take Partas and Farinas if you will be having direct trip from Manila. Travel time approximately 10-12 hours from Manila.

WHERE TO STAY:

Looking for a place to stay in Pagudpud don't really present a problem to travelers with all
the resorts and and home stays in and around town, especially in Saud Beach. But, if you really want to have a smooth trip and you want to swim straight to the beach you may contact the resorts for the reservation. No hussle!

My kuya already have the reservation in Saud Beach.

For inquiries visit www.saudbeachresort.com or contact them via mobile
 (0917-5195419)
or via telephone
 (928-9853)

Saud Beach Resort and Hotel provides you with all the basic things, including fresh linens, towels, and toiletries. They also have polite workers that will guide you and will provide you safety in your whole stay in their resort.

Relaxing view

WHERE TO EAT:

As what we always expect, foods from resorts will always provide you their best delicacy that will please your taste buds.

The best foods to be ordered are Ilocano cuisine, well what do you expect? The restaurant is just placed beside the shore, so you will have a relaxing view with relaxing music accompanied by the restaurant.

MORE TOURIST SPOT:

A trip to Ilocos wouldn't be complete without visiting some of the tourist attraction.

Kapurpurawan Rock Formation
of Burgos, Ilocos Norte

Multiple of tourist also visit Burgos to witness a strange chunk of limestone. Before start walking, bring atleast a bottle of water and a towel for a long walk. It will be a long and hot walk! Expect to get tan!

Bangui Windmills

No one could miss the colossal windmills of Bangui on your way to Pagudpud. 20 giant wind turbines that gives energy to contribute 50% power to Ilocos.

Ilocos Norte is really blessed with so much wonder to see and places to experience.
